Synergy-UK offer storage solutions via the Cloud (OneDrive, for example). It is important to know that the data link is between the customer and the third-party Cloud Storage Provider, with Synergy-UK acting as a Partner within the link. The storage of data and its management is solely down to the third-party Cloud Storage Provider, as this data is not held within Synergy-UK’s control or protected by Synergy-UK.
Synergy-UK may collect, store or use data for other purposes than the ones listed above, but no data will be shared to any other entities without prior written permission.
Synergy-UK strictly protects the security of your personal information and honours your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
The data that we collect is securely stored using a third-party Password Management provider. All accounts that access this information have Two-Factor Authentication applied to prevent unauthorized access. We also store some generic data on our internal file systems, but this data solely relates to a business rather than a specific person. This data requires password authentication to access it and can only be accessed whilst on-site at our office.
In relation to Cloud Storage Solutions, the storage and data responsibility is solely down to the third-party provider. No data is stored locally within Synergy-UK when the cloud storage solutions are provided, with full responsibility for data being held with the provider.
Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under conditions explained in Part 4 – Legal Responsibilities. Your information may be stored and processed in the United Kingdom or any other country where Synergy-UK, its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents reside.
